In the 70’s my self-taught personal reportage style work was published in the major photo journals from Creative Camera & British Journal of Photography to USA Camera; photo stories were published in Spare Rib, She magazine & The Times.
I participated in a women’s collective, from the Half Moon Gallery, London creating touring exhibitions; ‘Women’ & ‘Men’. My portraits were shown at the I.C.A. London in ‘73.
Personal photo projects followed including: ‘Vrouen Festival’ NL & ‘Berkeley portraits’ CA.
Late 70’s I had a foray into documentary film work incl: Associate producer of ‘Andrew Logan’s Alternative Miss World’ & stills for ‘Skate Board’ & also 2 Tone film ‘Dance Craze’.
From ’81-2004 I was not active in photography whilst training & working in the personal development field as a Relational Psychotherapist & group trainer.
Since Jan ‘05, restarting photography & converting to digital: my first archive show of the 2 tone music scene has toured from Brighton to the BBC Open Centre & Herbert Gallery, Coventry; PYMCA Gallery London & to BFI Southbank London.
